| ¿Es vuestra primera participación en KANYA!!! ? Sí lo es, y la verdad es que la afrontamos con muchas ganas, ya que entre otras, el compartir escenario para tan señalada fecha con LUX DIVINA, ex grupo de tres de nuestros componentes, entre los que me cuento... pues nos hace especial ilusión. Creo que la organización ha hecho este año un gran esfuerzo, y siendo un Festival mastodóntico en cuanto a número de bandas y horas de música, creo que es uno de esos eventos a los que vale la pena asistir como evento social en si mismo. Queda poco ya... |  | ¿ Is this you first time in KANYA!!! ? Yes, It is. And we face it really willingly, because, specially, to share scenario with LUX DIVINA, ex-band of three of us (myself included) makes us a very special illusion. I think the organization has made a big effort this year and, as it is a giant festival in number of bands and in hours of music, I think is one of these cases that it is worth to be as a social event itself. | ¿Cuál es la formación actual del grupo? La formada por Falke: guitarra, Wilhkiem: guitarra, Nechrist: Bateria, y el aquí presente, Fiar: voces y bajo. ¿Cuánto tiempo lleváis con la formación actual del grupo? Por suerte para FOSCOR, esta es la formación que nos permitió empezar a dar directos, desde el 2004, a la salida oficial del primer trabajo. Previamente éramos grupo de estudio Falke y yo, con Norax como vocalista. |  | ¿What’s the current lineup of the band? We are Falke: guitar, Wilhkiem: guitar, Nechrist: drums, and myself, Fiar: voices and bass. ¿Since when do you have that lineup? Fortunalety for us, this is the lineup that allowed us to start with live concerts, since 2004, after the official launch of our first job. Previosly we were a studio team Falke and mi, with Norax as singer. |
| ¿Qué habéis hecho últimamente? Hemos entrado a estudio para plasmar un par de temas que saldran editados para un Split 7" y un Tributo con 20 bandas más... Ahora mismo estamos en pleno estrés componiendo o mejor dicho, rematando los temas para el próximo trabajo, que gravaremos en Marzo, y preparando además del KANYA!!! una gira de 10 días por tierras Francesas con nuestros vecinos OTARGOS... casi nada...he, he... |  | ¿What have you done recently? We have entered in studio to record a couple of songs that will be launched in a Split 7" and a Tribute with 20 more bands... Right now, we are fully stressed composing, let say better closing the songs for the next album that we plan to record in March and also preparing, in addition to the KANYA!!!, a French tour for ten days with our neighbors OTARGOS... not bad...he, he... |
| ¿Vais a presentar temas nuevos en KANYA!!!? Solamente esos dos que comentaba que saldrán editados a lo largo de este año. Los que pertenecen al tercer trabajo no están para salir en directo. ¿Cómo definís vuestro sonido? Denso, oscuro, dinámico y emotivo. Dark Black Metal quizás. |  | ¿We will see new songs at KANYA!!!? Only the two ones I’ve said will be launched this year. The new ones for the third album they are not ready to be played live. ¿Can you define your sound? Dense, obscure, dynamic and emotive. Dark Black Metal maybe. |
| ¿Cuáles son vuestras influencias? ¿Qué os gusta escuchar? Música de todo tipo, para que engañar, pero realmente donde reside la base de inspiración y de sabiduría, es en la oleada escandinava de primera y parte de la segunda mitad de los 90. Grupos como Ved Buens Ende, Emperor, Burzum, Dodheimsgard, o Katatonia ya sean de la antigua como de la más actual etapa. El Doom Inglés... Death Metal tipo Enombed, Unleashed, Pungent Stench... muchas cosas, pero el Black Metal que surgió de Noruega como comentaba es el que mayor abanico de recursos nos ha dejado. |  | ¿What are your main influences? ¿What do you like to ear? Al kind of music, makes no sense to say another thing. But the basis of our knowledge and inspiration really are in the Scandinavian wave from the first and part of the second half of the 90’s. Bands as Ved Buens Ende, Emperor, Burzum, Dodheimsgard, or Katatonia both from the oldest or the newer stages. Thye British Doom... Death Metal as Enombed, Unleashed, Pungent Stench... lots of things, but the Black Metal coming from Norway has given to us the wider range of resources. |
| ¿Cuál es el tema preferido de vuestras letras? La vida y la muerte, opuestos pero ligados... razón de ser, y razón de vivir... excusa o motivación... A la postre, la angustia del ser al afrontar tal tema. |  | ¿Whats the prefereed theme od your lyrics? Life and dead, opposed but linked... the reason to be and the reason to live... excuse or motivation... At last, the anxiety of the being when facing all that. |
| ¿Qué proyectos tenéis para este año? Como comentaba anteriormente, la grabación del tercer trabajo, que editará de nuevo Temple of Darkness Records, esta gira de 10 días para rematar la jugada del segundo álbum... y aparte de seguramente hacer un nuevo videoclip para el nuevo trabajo...buscar fechas en directo ya a escala Europeo y de forma continuada... Todo eso, y más... como se pueda, pero se hará. |  | ¿What are you main projects for this year? As I’ve told you before, to record our third work, that will be edited again by Temple of Darkness Records, that 10 days tour to complete the second album presentation... and, in addition to made a new videoclip for the new work,...to find dates to play live at European scale and in a sustained way... All this and more... as we can, but we will do it. |
| ¿Como veis el panorama musical en Barcelona y especialmente el metal? Pues si bien hemos vivido momentos de muy buena situación en cuanto a bandas, sus propuestas, y/o interés del público y movimiento o infraestructura... Creo que de nuevo ahora mismo se está volviendo a sentir como una desilusión general, un cansancio, y sobre todo una falta de frescura a todos los niveles más que preocupante... Lo veo aquí así de un año hacia aquí... De todas formas, pronostico un resurgir para este 2009 inicios del 2010 con la salida de nuevos trabajos de muchos de los grupos que mueven el cotarro tanto aquí como en el resto del Estado, y si no al tiempo. |  | ¿What do you think about the music scene in Barcelona and specially the metal one? We have lived very good times related to the bands, the proposals, the public interest and also related to the infrastructure and so on...But right now I feel like a general dilusion, tiredness and a gap pf freshness at all the levels that I think is worrying... I see that sionce one year ago... In any case, I predict a reemerging this 2009 or beginning of 2010 with the lanching of ew Works of lots of groups that move the thing both here and over the rest of Spain, you will see. |
| ¿Qué le aconsejaríais a los que están empezando a montar sus bandas? Que sean conscientes de a dónde quieren y pueden llegar, y que no le den más importancia si simplemente es un pasatiempo. Por lo demás... que sepan que es un largo camino que no lleva a ninguna parte.. y que lo importante es recorrerlo con convencimiento... cosa que no muchos saben asumir o entender. |  | ¿What’s your advice for those who start Building their bands? Be aware about where do you want to go and where do you can go and don’t give it more importance if it is a simple hobby. And...you must know there’s a long way to nowhere… and the main thing is to travel it with conviction... something not so much are able to assume or understand. |
| Algo más que te gustaría decir a nuestros lectores? Simplemente que sean conscientes de lo que la música representa para ellos... y que de ahí saquen sus conclusiones sobre los que la hacen... Joder... ha quedado muy moralista esto... Que hagan lo que les de la gana, y que disfruten la vida.. |  | Do you would like to say something more to our readers?
